Feathers for a Friend

Hello creative friends, I hope you are doing well. I have another card to show you. This one is simple and cute, or as the challenge says, clean and graphic; even though the ink splatter makes it look intentionally messy. This card is for a dear friend of mine who I miss very much since moving and I just want to remind her that I am always thinking of her because she is wonderful!
This Card is for the Card Concept Challenege #14 featuring White, Black, Red and Teal. It uses the Feather and Ink Blot new stamps I ordered a few weeks ago. (I really ordered that stamp set only for the feather as Gorgeous Grunge has ink blot stamps.) I love how this card turned out and even though it is simple I think it is vibrant. What do you think?

Here is a close-up of the Feather 'pen' coloured to look as if it was dipped in a ink pot:

Here is the Insiration and colour combo for this card:

Thanks for stopping by,

  1. This is a fabulous card! I love the ink splatters. Great idea!

  2. Great background - it goes perfectly with the feather..I'm sure your friend will love it!

  3. How smart are you? Love that idea to dip the end of the feather in the ink! Clever!!! I really love this card with all its graphic elements.

  4. What a neat card! It has a great theme with the feather / quill and ink splotches. Love that.

Thanks for joining us at The Card Concept!
