This week I am participating in the Friday Mash-up Challenge #152 for Sailing. This is my first time participating in this challenge, but I am excited to get involved. The card I made for this challenge is for my Grandpa. He has been a fisherman his whole life and I think this card gives just the right nautical feel for a Hello card to him.
To make this card I did some coloring on the boat, I used a piece of paper Pumpkin scrap for the grey piece and sanded it so the white showed through and last I stamped the anchor on a piece of scrap paper that I embossed with Silver EP several times so it would leave an impression. Hope you like it.
The photo was a little rushed as you may have noticed due to my homework needing to be a priority.
Thanks for Stopping by,
-Jill
Great card, love the anchor and how you embossed it with silver!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing along with us at The Friday Mashup!
Jill, thank you so much for joining us for the first time at the Friday Mashup! You did a fantastic job...I forgot about that wonderful technique you did with the anchor- thanks for the reminder. I know your grandpa will love it;)
