A Nautical Card with Detail

Today the card I am posting is for Mojo Monday's 340 challenge and Late Night Stamper's 246 challenge. This card is for my grandpa's birthday today... so I should have made and mailed it a while ago, but I forgot about it with all the stuff going on in life right now.
I LOVE THIS CARD! I am very proud at how it turned out.
Any who, back to the card; I used a nautical theme, as you can see and went with nautical colors using the Open Sea Stamp set. I also used Soft Suede, Island Indigo, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, and Basic Grey.

Here is a close-up on the two ribbon ribbon treatments I used. For the twine I braided 3 pieces together to make it more like rope; I got the idea from a beautiful card I found on Pinterest. You can also see the background paper, which I made into my own DSP. I took a Marina Mist piece of Parker's Patterns DSP and stamped the anchor several times and then colored it in in the same colors as the featured anchor to make my own custom DSP. Looks great together doesn't it, without taking too much focus away from the main elements of the card.

I cut out each of the stamped pieces and sponges the edges in crumb cake. I also sponges the banner in crumb cake and the Night of Navy piece in Early Espresso.

Here is the sketch for this challenge:

Thanks for checking me out today,
