Hello Lovelies, Today I am excited to share with you a card I made for the Addicted to CAS Challenge #82: Home. The card I decided to make was a city skyline card and I used a watercolour technique.
The city we live in (our home) is full of rich culture, heritage and art; and I think cities are best if coloured with a beatiful diversity. That is why I chose a city skyline fore the HOME challenge.
Here is a close-up on the watercolour technique. all the texture and dry patterns of the water is really beautiful!
I liked the idea of this card so much I decided to make 2, One portrait one landscape. On the second one my watercolour didn't turn out the way I liked, but thankfully it looked lovely on the reverse side, so I used that instead.
Here is a close-up on the second card. I like the more muted tones of the colours here. It is a nice effect.
Here is the inspiration for this card:
Thank you for stopping by,
Stay creative my darlings,
-Jill
Hi Jill! Your cards are lovely, I'm really liking the watercolor look! I think its pretty cool that you could use the back side of the watercolored cityscape ...who knew! lol!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at ATCAS.
Oh how clever! This is a wonderful interpretation of the code word HOME. The water colouring is stunning. Thank you for playing along with Addicted to CAS. x Carolyn
